Madalitso Muthiya
Madalitso Muthiya (born 8 February 1983) is a Zambian professional golfer. Early life and amateur career Muthiya took up golf at the age of six and at fifteen he caught the attention of Zambian president Frederick Chiluba, who asked an American, James Roth, to assist Muthiya in securing an athletic scholarship to a university. Roth arranged for Muthiya to play a junior tournament in the United States, the 1999 Nolan Henke/Patty Berg Junior Masters in Fort Myers, Florida. Muthiya won in the 16- to 18-year-old age group. He went on to play college golf at the University of New Mexico Professional career In 2005, Muthiya turned professional. In 2006, he had many highlights. In March, he finished second at the Zambia Open. He joined the Canadian Tour later in the year. In the summer he also became the first Zambian and black African to play in the U.S. Open. Madalitso Mkoloma
Madalitso Andrew Mkoloma (born 12 September 1984) is a Barbadian footballer who played as a midfielder. He has been a member of the Barbados national team. Early life Mkoloma was born in 1985 in London, England to a Malawian father and a Barbadian mother. He is the younger brother of Sonia Mkoloma. Club career At the time of his international call-up, Mkoloma was playing for London-based side North Kensington. Mkoloma later played for Kensington Dragons and Harefield United. International career He made his international debut for Barbados in a May 2008 friendly match against Trinidad & Tobago, which remains his only international appearance to date. Napoleon Dzombe is a businessman and philanthropist in Malawi. He is the founder of Blessing Hospital. Life He was a major figure in giving aid during the 2001-2002 drought in Malawi. Dzombe also works to promote a better agricultural practices in Malawi. He owns and operates Madalitso Food Production and also owns a sugar corporation. Dzombe's company Mtalimanja Holdings Limited has also invested millions of dollars in large scale Rice milling machinery. In 2012, Dzombe lead a group of businessmen who made a major investment in biodiesel technology for Malawi. His work was the subject of the 2005 short film "A Warm Heart". Edith WeUtonga
Edith Katiji, known professionally as Edith WeUtonga (born 22 April 1979), is a Zimbabwean Afro-jazz and traditional music artist, bass guitarist, songwriter, actress and music teacher. She was born in Kadoma, which lies approximately 166 kilometres (103 mi), by road, southwest of Harare. Being of Malawi origin and growing up in Bulawayo she sings in four different languages mainly Shona, Chichewa, Ndebele and English. Her band is called ''Utonga'' which means dawn. She is one of only a few bass guitarists in Zimbabwe who is also a lead vocalist for a band. She also plays the acoustic guitar, mbira and drums.
