Madalena Nicol
Madalena Nicol (December 25, 1919 – November 6, 1996) was a Brazilian actress. Biography A grandniece of Prudente de Morais, she was educated in a convent before studying law at the University of São Paulo, planning to follow in the footsteps of her attorney father. However, her interest overwhelmed this desire and she became a singer. Known as Senorita Magdalena Mendes Cajado, Madalena began her career as a soprano, singing Brazilian folk songs. She performed at the White House for President Franklin Roosevelt as well as touring Paris and New York. During the 1940s and 1950s, Nicol made a name for herself, performing and directing in São Paulo for ''Grande Teatro Tupi''. She was the first theatre actress to appear on TV Tupi. In 1952, she transferred to TV Paulista and created the drama series ''Teatro Madalena Nicol'' which remained on air until 1953 when ''Teatro Cacilda Becker'' took over. Sérgio Viotti
Sérgio Luiz Viotti (14 March 192726 July 2009) was a Brazilian actor and television director. Biography Viotti was born in São Paulo. He resided in London, England between 1949 and 1958, where he worked for BBC Radio. He worked as a radio broadcaster and a dance and opera critic while at the BBC. Viotti returned to Brazil in 1958. In 1958, he was asked by Antunes Filho to direct, '' Viagem a Três'', by Jean de Létraz, which marked his entry into directing. His career as an actor first began in 1961, when he appeared in the theater production of '' The Connection'' '' O Contato'' by American playwright Jack Gelber. His work on ''O Cantanto'' earned Viotti a best new actor award from the Prêmio Associação Brasileira de Críticos Teatrais (Brazilian Theater Critics Association). ''The Champions'' is a British espionage thriller/science fiction/occult detective fiction adventure television series. It was produced by Lew Grade's ITC Entertainment production company, and consists of 30 episodes broadcast in the UK on ITV during 1968–1969. ''The Faceless Ones'' is the mostly missing eighth serial of the fourth season in the British science fiction television series '' Doctor Who'', which was first broadcast in six weekly parts from 8 April to 13 May 1967.
