North Sydney is a suburb and commercial district on the Lower North Shore of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. ''The Sun'' was an Australian afternoon tabloid newspaper, first published in Sydney under that name in 1910. History ''The Sunday Sun'' was first published on 5 April 1903. In 1910 Hugh Denison founded Sun Newspaper Ltd (later Sun Newspapers Ltd) and took over publication of the old and ailing ''Australian Star'' and its sister ''Sunday Sun'', appointing Monty Grover as editor-in-chief. Lou Vernon
Lou Vernon (born Clarence Alphonse Lambert, 26 June 1888, Brisbane – 22 December 1971, Sydney) was an Australian actor of stage, radio and screen and producer. He started his career in musical comedy, and was particularly noted for his versatility and ability as a character actor. Roy Rene in his memoir mentioned Lou worked with him in the comedy farce, "Give and Take". It was described in The Bulletin, "There has not been so much laughter in any one spot in Melbourne for months and months". Pitt Street is a major street in the Sydney central business district in New South Wales, Australia. The street runs through the entire city centre from Circular Quay in the north to Waterloo, although today's street is in two disjointed sections after a substantial stretch of it was removed to make way for Sydney's Central railway station. Triple M Central West (call sign: 2OAG) is an Australian radio station, licensed to Orange, New South Wales. It is owned and operated by Southern Cross Austereo, and transmits on 105.1 MHz on the FM band. It originally broadcast on 990 kHz, before switching to 1089 kHz, before switching to the FM band. The former Am frequency of 1089 was turned into a relay station of an automated Sydney station, and later purchased by Broadcast Operations Group. The station was founded in the mid-1930s. It was opened by the Postmaster General, Sen. McLachlan on the evening of 31 October 1935.
