Macomb Area Conference
The Macomb Area Conference (abbreviated to MAC) (formerly known as the Macomb Athletic Conference) is a high school sports league located in Southeastern Michigan. It is a member of the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA). There are currently 36 members, spread across Macomb County, St. Clair County, Oakland County, and Wayne County. The MAC offers sports for both boys and girls, including boys and girls cross country, boys football, boys and girls basketball, boys baseball, and girls softball, boys and girls soccer, boys and girls swimming, girls volleyball, boys and girls track and field, wrestling, boys hockey, and boys and girls tennis. League History The MAC was formed in 1986 through the merger of the Macomb Conference and the Bi-County Conference, and began competition in September 1987. High School

Grosse Pointe North High School is a public high school in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. North is a four-year comprehensive high school with an enrollment of around 1,400 and expected 2016 graduating class of 350. Classes are in session for 182 days per year and the school day is from 8:00 AM to 3:05 PM. The principal is Kate Murray; she won the 2015 Educators Voice Award. Warren High School (Warren, Michigan)
Warren High School was the first public high school in Warren, Michigan. It was a part of Warren Consolidated Schools. It was located on Arden just west of Mound. It was also known as Warren Senior. History In 1926, William E. Murthum School was built on the corner of Seventh Avenue and Arden. It was the first brick school in Warren and housed Grades K-12. In 1931, an addition was built which housed the high school. Due to the increasing enrollment, a cinder block building was constructed in 1944 paid for with World War II bonds and was named the "Victory Wing." Warren High School was housed in the Victory Building from 1944-1950. Once again, the enrollment grew and a new high school building was constructed on land next to Murthum. Port Huron High School
Port Huron High School (PHHS) was founded in 1868, and has been in continuous operation as a secondary school in Port Huron, Michigan since then. PHHS athletic teams competed in the ''Eastern Michigan League'' (EML) until the 1990s; upon dissolution of the EML, PHHS joined the Macomb Area Conference (MAC).
