Maciej Sulęcki
Maciej Sulęcki (born 2 May 1989) is a Polish professional boxer who challenged for the WBO middleweight title in 2019. Amateur career Sulecki had a 110–30 record as an amateur, becoming a three-time Polish Junior champion. Professional career Sulęcki made his professional debut in June 2010, defeating Adam Gawlik by knockout in the first round in Kielce, Poland. In June 2012, Sulęcki defeated former welterweight world champion Yuriy Nuzhnenko with a unanimous decision. Over the next three years Sulęcki put together 15 straight victories before fighting for his first title in November 2013, against Lukasz Wawrzyczek for the vacant Republic of Poland middleweight title. A counterpunch is a boxing punch that immediately follows an attack launched by an opponent. It exploits the opening created in an opponent's guard. Technique Counterpunchers are tactical, fighters who find the middle of offence and defence as well as relying on opponent mistakes or their own ability to provoke an opponent's mistakes in order to gain an attacking advantage to get score cards or the chance of a knockout. They combine their offensive and defensive skills to avoid or block shots in order to immediately place well-timed punches on opponents who have lost their guard. Daniel Jacobs (born February 3, 1987) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 2007 to 2024. He held the World Boxing Association (WBA) middleweight title ( Regular version) from 2014 to 2017, and the International Boxing Federation (IBF) middleweight title from 2018 to 2019. Nicknamed the "Miracle Man", Jacobs' career was almost cut short in 2011 due to osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. He went on to make a full recovery after spending 19 months out of the sport, meanwhile recovering from severe operation-induced injuries generally perceived as crippling. 2017–18 World Boxing Super Series – Cruiserweight Division
The 2017–18 World Boxing Super Series – cruiserweight division was a World Boxing Super Series professional boxing tournament that took place between September 2017 and July 2018 in several countries. The Super Series featured eight top-rated cruiserweight boxers in a single-elimination tournament. Its winner will hold world titles for all four of boxing's major sanctioning bodies, The Ring Magazine title, as well as the Muhammad Ali trophy. The tournament was organized by Comosa AG. A super middleweight tournament was held concurrently, with prize money for both competitions totalling US$50 million.
