Machine Robo
is a Japanese transforming robot toyline first released in 1982 by Popy, a division of Bandai, then later by Bandai proper. The franchise was marketed as Robo Machine in Europe and Machine Men in Australia. A large portion of these toys were exported to North America as part of Tonka's Gobots series, which began in 1983. About Machine Robo The initial assortment of Machine Robos consisted of small toy robots which transformed into vehicles, aircraft, etc., comparable in size to Matchbox cars. These early MR toys have become known as the "600 series" (being priced at ¥600 each), and were developed through ideas submitted by children, similar to the children's submissions in the ''Kinnikuman'' anime series. Larger-scale deluxe ("DX") toys were soon released, along with other non-transforming vehicles and figures. Machine Men (band)
Machine Men was a Finnish heavy metal band that originally formed as an Iron Maiden cover band. Vocalist Toni Parviainen started singing in 1998, with inspiration from Bruce Dickinson. Machine Men took their name from a song present on Dickinson's 1998 album "The Chemical Wedding". After a two-year hiatus, the band broke up in February 2011 due to lack of interest from the members. Machine Man
Machine Man (also known as Aaron Stack, Mister Machine and serial number Z2P45-9-X-51 or X-51 for short) is an android superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by Jack Kirby for ''2001: A Space Odyssey (comics), 2001: A Space Odyssey'' #8 (July 1977), a comic written and drawn by Kirby featuring concepts based on the eponymous 1968 Stanley Kubrick 2001: A Space Odyssey (film), feature film and Arthur C. Clarke's 2001: A Space Odyssey (novel), 1968 novel. Shortly thereafter, Machine Man spun off into his own Kirby-created series.
