Mac Gudgeon
Mac Gudgeon (2 March 1949 – 25 May 2023) was an Australian film and television screenwriter. Biography Career Gudgeon was perhaps best known for writing the television mini-series'' Waterfront'', '' The Petrov Affair'', '' Killing Time'' and for co-writing ''The Secret River''. Gudgeon's film screenwriting include '' Last Ride'' and he co-wrote the screenplays for ''Ground Zero'', '' The Delinquents'' and ''Wind''. Gudgeon served as president of the Australian Writers' Guild from 1998 to 2000, and received a lifetime membership in 2002. Gudgeon died on 25 May 2023, at the age of 74. Jan Vittorio Sardi (born 1953) is an Australian screenwriter. In 1997, he was nominated for an Academy Awards, Academy Award for Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, Best Writing (Original Screenplay), for ''Shine (film), Shine''. He wrote and directed the 2004 film ''Love's Brother''. He adapted the novel by Nicholas Sparks for ''The Notebook'' (2004). Shane Brennan
Shane Brennan (born January 20, 1957, in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia) is an Australian television writer and producer, best known as the executive producer of the CBS drama '' NCIS'', as well as the creator of the ''NCIS'' spin-off series, '' NCIS: Los Angeles''. The Australian Writers' Guild (AWG) is the professional association for Australian performance writers for film, television, radio, theatre, video, and new media. The AWG was established in 1962, and has conferred the AWGIE Awards since 1968, the Monte Miller Awards since 1972, and the John Hinde Award since 2008. ''The Delinquents'' is a 1989 Australian coming-of-age romantic drama film directed by Chris Thomson from a screenplay by Clayton Frohman and Mac Gudgeon, based on Criena Rohan's 1962 book of the same name.
