Maari 2
''Maari 2'' is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film written and directed by Balaji Mohan. It is a sequel to his 2015 film ''Maari''. Dhanush, besides producing the film under his company Wunderbar Films, also stars as the title character, continuing his role from the first film with Sai Pallavi played a female lead. The film also stars Krishna, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Tovino Thomas, Vidya Pradeep, Robo Shankar, Kalloori Vinoth, Kaali Venkat, Master Raghavan and others. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the cinematography was handled by Om Prakash and editing by Prasanna GK. The film was released on 21 December 2018 and received mixed reviews from critics. Balaji Mohan
Balaji Mohan (born 25 May 1987) is an Indian filmmaker and actor in Tamil-language films. After discontinuing his engineering studies to pursue his passion for becoming a director, he enrolled at a film academy and attended courses and workshops, besides participating in short film contests. After shooting over half a dozen short films, he directed his first full-length film, a romantic comedyKadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi based on one of his short films. Kaali Venkat
Kaali Venkat (born 16 November 1982) is an Indian actor who mainly appears in Tamil language films in supporting roles. Personal life Venkat hails from Kudaiyadevanpatti a village near Kovilpatti.
