Maanikya
''Maanikya'' ( ''The Ruby'') is a 2014 Indian Kannada-language action drama film directed by Sudeepa. The Film stars Sudeep and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, alongside Ranya, V. Ravichandran and P. Ravi Shankar. The music was composed by Arjun Janya, while cinematography and editing were handled by Shekhar Chandra and N. M. Vishwa. It is a remake of 2013 Telugu film '' Mirchi''. ''Maanikya'' was released on 1 May 2014 to positive reviews from critics and became commercially successful at the box office. The film was dubbed into Hindi under the same name. Plot The movie begins with a girl collecting funds for an organisation in Singapore. A goon gives her money and then chases her at night when she goes home. Ravichandran (Kannada Actor)
Veeraswamy Ravichandran (born 30 May 1961), known Mononymous person, mononymously as Ravichandran, is an Indian actor, director, producer, music director, lyricist and editor working predominantly in Kannada cinema. The son of film producer N. Veeraswamy, he continues to produce and distribute films under his father's production house, Sri Eswari Productions. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar (born 5 March 1985) is an Indian actress who appears in Tamil, Telugu films, also appeared in a few Kannada, Malayalam films. ''Mirchi'' () is a 2013 Indian Telugu-language romantic action film written and directed by debutant Koratala Siva, and produced by UV Creations. The film stars Prabhas, Anushka, and Richa Gangopadhyay in the lead roles with Sathyaraj, Sampath Raj, Adithya Menon, Subbaraju and Brahmanandam featuring in supporting roles.
