Maan Teodoro
Marjorie Ann "Maan" Ang Teodoro (born January 11, 1981) is a Filipino politician who is the mayor-elect of Marikina. Before being elected mayor, she had served as the representative for Marikina's first district since 2022. Educated at the University of Santo Tomas, Teodoro taught at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina. She entered politics in 2019 as the first nominee of the Adhikain Tinaguyod ng Kooperatiba (Ating-Koop) Partylist, which failed to secure a seat in the House of Representatives. In 2022, she was elected as the representative for Marikina's first district as a member of the United Nationalist Alliance, succeeding longtime mayor Bayani Fernando. Her term as a representative has been characterized by legislation related to health and education. Local elections were held in Marikina on May 12, 2025, as part of the 2025 Philippine general election. The electorate elected a mayor, a vice mayor, sixteen members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, Marikina City Council, and Legislative districts of Marikina, two district representatives to the House of Representatives of the Philippines. Jose Fabian Imperial Cadiz, (January 11, 1961 – February 20, 2022) was a Filipino politician and physician who served as the vice mayor of Marikina from 2010 to 2019, under the mayoralties of Del de Guzman and Marcelino Teodoro.
