MTV Pulse (Italian TV Channel)
''MTV Pulse Italy'' was an Italian television channel and like MTV Hits broadcast chart hits non-stop with many music-related themed zones and much programming from MTV and MTV Italy. Broadcast only on SKY Italia channel 707 (but also available on Italian IPTV services). On 10 January 2011 MTV Pulse Italy was closed down and its frequencies were taken over by the pan-European music channel MTV Dance. MTV Dance
Club MTV, formerly MTV Dance, is a European pay television music channel from Paramount Networks EMEAA that which replaced the British MTV Base on 7 March 2008. The network mainly broadcasts music videos from the electronica and techno genres, and is commercial free. History The channel was launched as MTV Dance on 7 March 2008, then became Club MTV from 1 June 2020. On 2 August 2015, it was removed from Sky Italia. On 1 October 2017, MTV Dance ceased broadcasting in Benelux. On 4 October 2018, the channel was removed on Numericable along with MTV Rocks following Comedy Central launch in France. In 2019, the channel disappeared in Portugal being substituted by MTV Live HD. The channel was rebranded as Club MTV from 1 June 2020. VIMN EMEA applied for a new licence for the channel on 7 April 2020. Mighty Moshin' Emo Rangers
''Mighty Moshin' Emo Rangers'' is a television miniseries on MTV UK. The show was a parody of ''Mighty Morphin Power Rangers'', poking fun at the emo stereotype. The series was directed by Chris Phillips and Nick Pittom, who both lived in Essex, England. It was picked up by MTV UK in 2006, and later also appeared on MTV in the United States. A second series began in 2010, followed by a special in 2015. Production history The creators have cited two conflicting stories for the original idea for the series: # One story suggests that in November 2004, Phillips was upset due to a breakup with his girlfriend. ''Total Request Live'' is the Italian version of the American television program of the same name that originated in 1999. Originally broadcast weekdays at 2.00 p.m., its time slot was changed as it ran into its second season. It was broadcast at 3.00 p.m. starting in 2002. The main presenters, during the ten seasons, were Alessandro Cattelan, Giorgia Surina, Marco Maccarini, Carolina Di Domenico, and Federico Russo. As from June 2, 2008 the show is hosted by Elena Santarelli and Carlo Pastore, who presented another music programme of MTV, ''Your Noise''. During her episode of May 15, 2009, Elena Santarelli, because of her maternity, left the show. Elisabetta Canalis came replacing her. In 2010 the show had been completely renovated and have changed his name in ''TRL On the Road'', so the show wasn't hosted from a stage, but from a truck to make viewers more involved. ''Pimp My Ride'' is a staged American television series produced by MTV and hosted by rapper Xzibit, which ran for six seasons on MTV from 2004 to 2007. In each episode, a car in poor condition is both restored and customized. The work on the show was done by West Coast Customs until season 5 and was done by Galpin Auto Sports thereafter. The show had several international adaptations, including '' Pimp My Ride UK'', ''Pimp My Ride International'' (in central Europe), and other adaptations in Brazil, Indonesia and the Baltic countries.
