MTV Music (Italy)
MTV Music is an Italian pay television music channel operated by Paramount Networks EMEAA. The channel was launched as a free-to-air network on Italy DTT on 17 May 2010 and on Sky Italia on 18 October 2010. It was renamed to MTV Music on 1 March 2011. The main MTV station had been sold to Sky Italia on August 1, 2015 in Italy (DTT only). It had no effect on MTV Music, as this TV station was not sold and continues to be a Paramount property. 576i is a standard-definition television, standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for Digitization, digitizing 625 lines, 625 line Analog television, analogue television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. VH1 (Italian TV Channel)
VH1 Italia was a 24-hour music entertainment channel operated by Paramount Networks EMEAA which launched on 1 July 2016, replacing the Italian version of MTV Music which launched on 1 March 2011 on digital terrestrial television. VH1 Italia was available over-the-air across Italy. The channel used the slogan 'Music 4 Life' on all online and on-air branding. The channel used the existing VH1 branding and idents from VH1's international creative campaign. The channel used a mix of domestic and non-domestic music videos and artists. Italian artists were used in segments in order to promote the new channel - VH1 Italia: Music 4 Life. The network retained the music video direction of the original VH1 format, never moving its focus towards the American channel's reality television focus. MTV Global (formerly MTV Europe) is the international version of the American TV channel  MTV as 24-hour music video and entertainment pay television network officially launched on 1 August 1987 as part of the worldwide MTV network. ''Total Request Live'' is the Italian version of the American television program of the Total Request Live, same name that originated in 1999. Originally broadcast weekdays at 2.00 p.m., its time slot was changed as it ran into its second season. It was broadcast at 3.00 p.m. starting in 2002. The main presenters, during the ten seasons, were Alessandro Cattelan, Giorgia Surina, Marco Maccarini, Carolina Di Domenico, and Federico Russo (presenter), Federico Russo. ''Storytellers'' is a television music series produced by the VH1 network. In each episode, artists perform in front of a (mostly small and intimate) live audience, and tell stories about their music, writing experiences and memories, somewhat similar to ''MTV Unplugged''. MTV Hive was MTV's online music video portal and its editorial mouthpiece for coverage of indie music genres, providing music news and music on-demand. ''Behind the Music'' is an American documentary television series that initially aired on VH1 from 1997 to 2014. Each episode profiles and interviews a popular musical artist or group, examining career beginnings, roads to success and any resultant hardships.
