Selayang Municipal Council Stadium ( Malay: Stadium Majlis Perbandaran Selayang) is a multi-purpose stadium in Selayang, Gombak District, Selangor, Malaysia. The stadium is owned by the Majlis Perbandaran Selayang (MPS). It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 16,000. History Construction began in September 1997 and finished construction in September 1999. Gombak District
The Gombak District is an administrative Districts of Malaysia, district located in the eastern-central part of the state of Selangor, Malaysia. The district was created on February 1, 1974, the same day when Kuala Lumpur was declared a Federal Territory (Malaysia), Federal Territory. History Gombak district was formed by combining portions of the former Greater Kuala Lumpur district and Rawang, Selangor, Rawang in February 1974. Until 1997, Rawang, Selangor, Rawang was the district capital; the capital has been moved to Bandar Baru Selayang.
