Horrible Histories (2001 TV Series)
''Horrible Histories'' is an Animated television series, animated children's television series based on the Terry Deary book series Horrible Histories, of the same name. The series ran for 26 episodes that aired between 19 December 2000 and 14 November 2001. Synopsis The series is based around the adventures of Stitch and Mo, two everyday kids who are transported to various historical eras with the help of a time portal. In each episode, their historical adventures help teach them a lesson or solve a problem in their everyday lives, often involving bully Darren Dongle. Animated sidebars explain the historical details, and clarify popular misconceptions. Yamaha MO
The Yamaha MO6/MO8 is a music production synthesizer that comes in two sizes. The MO6 is the 61-key while the MO8 is the 88 weighted key version. The two versions use Yamaha's AWM2 (Advanced Wave Memory 2) tone generator also used in the Motif and the Motif ES series of synths and comes with 175MB of waveform memory, 64 voices of polyphony (124 Max in sequencer), 512 preset programs with 256 User voice and 129 GM voice, over 1700 arpeggio programs, and over 18 different filter types navigated through the 240x64 LCD display. The MO-series keyboards have been discontinued by Yamaha, and were replaced by the MoX series. Currently, the MoX series has also been superseded by the MoXF-series, whose sound engine is derived from the company's fifth-generation Motif XF series. Mo ( 莫) is the pinyin romanization of the surname pronounced in Standard Chinese as "Mò" and in Cantonese as "Mok6". The surname is often romanized as Mok where Cantonese speakers are prominent. According to a study of Mu Ying's Name record, the surname came to be when descendants of the antediluvian ruler Zhuanxu abbreviated the name of his city, Moyangcheng (莫陽城) and took it as their surname. Milicja Obywatelska (MO; ), known as the Citizens' Militia in English, was the national police organization of the Polish People's Republic. The MO was established on 7 October 1944 by the Polish Committee of National Liberation under Chief Commander Franciszek Jóźwiak to police Red Army controlled areas of Poland during World War II. It became the official police force with the founding of the Polish People's Republic in 1947, effectively replacing the pre-war '' Policja'' as the main uniformed civilian police of Poland during the communist era. The MO was headquartered in Warsaw while training for the force was conducted in the town of Legionowo. The MO was supported by two paramilitary formations: the elite Motorized Reserves of the Citizens' Militia (ZOMO) and the reservist Volunteer Reserve of the Citizens' Militia (ORMO). Calm Air International LP. is a full service airline, offering passenger, charter and freight services in northern Manitoba and the Kivalliq Region of Nunavut.
