MLW Never Say Never (2023) was a professional wrestling event produced by Major League Wrestling (MLW) that took place on July 8, 2023, at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was the fifth event under the Never Say Never chronology, MLW's first event to be aired live since 2019, and their first live special produced for FITE+ subscribers. In addition to the live broadcast, eleven of the matches on the card were taped for future episodes of '' MLW Fusion''. Alex Rohde (born January 17, 1991), better known by the ring name Alexander Hammerstone or simply Hammerstone, is an American professional wrestler. He is signed to Major League Wrestling (MLW), where he was a former MLW World Heavyweight Champion, the inaugural and longest reigning MLW National Openweight Champion, and the winner of Battle Riot III. Saturday Night SuperFight was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the Major League Wrestling (MLW) promotion, which took place at the Cicero Stadium in Cicero, Illinois on November 2, 2019. It was MLW's first pay-per-view event and the second event under the Superfight chronology. The event aired live on traditional PPV outlets and FITE TV. It would be the last MLW event to be broadcast live until Never Say Never in 2023, and their last event to take place at Cicero Stadium until Azteca Lucha in 2024. In professional wrestling, the Samoan SWAT Team was a tag team comprising Juicy Finau and Lance Anoa'i, who work in Major League Wrestling (MLW), where they are former MLW World Tag Team Champions. The original Samoan SWAT Team primarily comprised Fatu and Samu, but various iterations alternatively included Great Kokina, Big Matty Smalls, Samoan Savage, and Sione. The MLW World Heavyweight Championship is a world heavyweight championship owned and promoted by Major League Wrestling (MLW). It is the promotion's principal championship. The championship was established on June 15, 2002 at the Genesis and was active until February 10, 2004 after the promotion stopped hosting events. The championship was reactivated in 2018. History On June 15, 2002, Major League Wrestling held an eight-man single-elimination tournament to crown the first MLW Champion at its inaugural Genesis event. Battle Riot Match
Battle Riot is an annual professional wrestling event produced by Major League Wrestling (MLW). The inaugural event took place on July 19, 2018. The event is named after the Battle Riot match, a multi-competitor match type in which wrestlers are eliminated until one is left and declared winner. The match begins with two participants in the ring. Another fighter then enters every minute until 40 wrestlers have joined the match. Competitors are eliminated by either pin, submission, or going over the top rope and having both feet touch the venue floor.
