ME (band)
ME (pronounced "me") were an Australian rock band formed in Melbourne active from 2008 to 2015. The band composed of Luke Ferris (vocals, guitar, piano), Michael Godde (bass, backing vocals), Spike Rogers (drums), and two separate guitarists: Damian Tapley and Joshua Murphy. In 2010 they signed with UK independent record label Lizard King Records and moved to the UK to record their debut album. After supporting Twin Atlantic, King Charles, Evanescence, Kasabian and Panic! at the Disco, the band released their debut mini-album "Another Story High" early in 2012 and the full-length album "Even the Odd Ones Out" in 2013. Both these releases were recorded by Simon ‘Barny’ Barnicott. The Great Escape Festival is a four-day music festival held in Brighton and Hove, England every year in May. It is operated by MAMA Festivals and showcases new music from a variety of genres. The festival was founded in 2006 and hosts roughly 500 bands across 30 venues throughout the city. It has been likened to South by Southwest. There is also a music industry convention section to the event, which is attended by over 4000 delegates. The Secret Garden Party, often colloquially shortened to the SGP, is an independent music festival, arts and music festival held in Abbots Ripton, England. The location is on part of the grounds of a Georgian farmhouse and has its own lakes, river and landscaped gardens. The Xcerts (stylised as The XCERTS) are a Scottish alternative rock band, originally formed in Aberdeen, Scotland in 2001. They have released four studio albums, with their latest being ''Learning How to Live and Let Go'' (2023). Biography The Xcerts were originally formed by 13-year-olds Murray Macleod and Jordan Smith after meeting in the headmasters room at Robert Gordon's College in Aberdeen. When school friend Ross McTaggart joined on drums, The Xcerts went on to record two EPs at the local recording studio Captain Tom's.
