MENEW
MENEW are an alternative indie rock band from Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, consisting of three brothers; Shade (lead vocals, guitar), Key (piano, synthesizers) and Nathan Samuel Phillip (drums, vocals). They have released three albums and one EP and toured North America. Career Formation and early development (early years up to 2007) The Klaas brothers grew up on a farm in a rural part of Cambridge, Ontario. At five years of age, they were given formal music training. The name of the band was created when the trio was rehearsing in their garage. When noticing two ‘NEW’ signs that had been arranged behind Nathan's set of drums, it read MENEW. They made the name into an ambigram and began to play live locally. SXSW
South by Southwest (SXSW) is an annual conglomeration of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and Convention (meeting), conferences organized jointly that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas. It began in 1987 and has continued growing in both scope and size every year. Filter is an American rock music, rock band formed in 1993 in Cleveland, Ohio, by singer Richard Patrick, along with guitarist and programmer Brian Liesegang. The band was formed when Patrick desired to start his own band after leaving Nine Inch Nails as their touring guitarist. Their debut album, ''Short Bus (album), Short Bus'' (1995) received RIAA certification, platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), supported by the single "Hey Man Nice Shot." Fuel is an American Rock music, rock band from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The band was formed in 1993 by guitarist-songwriter Carl Bell (musician), Carl Bell, vocalist Brett Scallions, drummer Jody Abbott, keyboardist Erik Avakian, and bassist Jeff Abercrombie.
