MBK Entertainment
MBK Entertainment () was a South Korean entertainment company established by Kim Kwang-soo. MBK Entertainment is known for managing multiple successful K-pop artists, such as T-ara, DIA, Davichi, SeeYa, F-ve Dolls, Shannon, Coed School, and SPEED. The company was originally founded in 1999 as GM Planning. The company was absorbed by Mnet Media in 2006, following Kim Kwang-soo joint with CJ Group as their director. In 2007, the company re-launch as Core Contents Media under Mnet Media. In September 2009, Kim Kwang-soo was removed from the list as director of Mnet Media and then effectively his own company ended business with Mnet Media. On October 1, 2014, Core Contents Media had been acquired by MBK Co., Ltd. (formerly CS ELSOLAR Co., Ltd.) and renamed as MBK Entertainment (abbreviation for "Music Beyond Korea"). Coed School () was a South Korean pop group formed by record company Core Contents Media in 2010. The co-ed group consisted of four female members: Soomi, Hyoyoung, Hyewon, and Chanmi; and six male members: Taewoon, Sungmin, Jungwoo, Kwanghaeng, Kangho, and Noori. The group was eventually divided into two sub-units: an all female-group called F-ve Dolls (2011) and an all-male group called SPEED (2012). Supernova (; stylized as SUPERNOVA) is a South Korean boy band formed under Mnet Media in 2006. Their most well-known lineup featured Jung Yunhak, Kim Sungje, Kim Kwangsoo, Yoon Sungmo, Song Jihyuk and Park Geonil. The six members specialized in the areas of singing, dance, acting, rap and pop. Lee Eun-jin (; born March 17, 1979), better known by her stage name Yangpa (, lit. ''Onion''), is a South Korean singer. She debuted in 1996 with the hit single "Novice's Love." History 1990s Yangpa debuted in 1996 with the album ''Novice's Love'', which was the most successful album of her career. Black Pearl () was a South Korean girl group that debuted in 2007. Their debut lineup consisted of Nami, Hwieun, Youngjoo, and Mika. Kim Yeon-ji (; born October 30, 1986) is a South Korean singer. She was the lead vocalist of South Korean vocal group SeeYa until becoming a solo artist after SeeYa's disbandment in 2011. SG Wannabe () is a South Korean vocal group consisting of members Kim Yong-jun, Kim Jin-ho and Lee Seok-hoon. ''Produce X 101'' () is a 2019 South Korean boy group survival reality show on Mnet and the fourth and final season of the ''Produce 101'' franchise. The public, referred to as "national producers", "produces" a boy band by choosing 11 members among the 101 trainees from 47 different entertainment companies and independent trainees through online voting and live voting with multiple elimination rounds. Under Nineteen () was a survival show on Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation for trainees under the age of 19 years old. There were a total of 57 contestants competing to debut as a member of 1THE9. The trainees were put into groups that specializes in vocals, rapping, and performance. The show aired between November 3, 2018 and February 9, 2019.
