M72 World Tour
The M72 World Tour is an ongoing concert tour by American heavy metal band Metallica in support of the band's eleventh studio album ''72 Seasons'', which was released on April 14, 2023. The tour was announced on November 28, 2022, following the release of the album's first single, "Lux Æterna". The tour began on April 27, 2023 in Amsterdam and is set to conclude on July 5, 2026 in London, England. Along with an upgraded stage design which relocates the "Snake Pit" to the center stage, the tour features two or more performances in the majority of cities played. Background On the announcement of the tour the band stated that, over the past few years, they had been inspired by the fans who attended their shows in 2019 and 2021. ''72 Seasons'' is the eleventh studio album by American heavy metal band Metallica, released on April 14, 2023, by their own record label Blackened Recordings. ''72 Seasons'' was produced by Greg Fidelman, who produced the band's previous studio album, '' Hardwired... to Self-Destruct'' (2016), and is the band's second studio album to be released through Blackened. American heavy metal band Metallica toured throughout 2021 and 2022 in support of the 30th anniversary of their fifth and self-titled studio album ''Metallica'', the 40th anniversary of the band, and in continuation of the WorldWired Tour. It was their first tour after the COVID-19 pandemic. It kicked off on September 16, 2021, in San Francisco. The 2022 portion of the tour was titled the ''Return Of The European Summer Vacation''. All That Remains is an American Heavy metal music, heavy metal band from Springfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1998. Philip Steven Labonte (born April 15, 1975) is an American singer, best known as the lead singer of the metalcore band All That Remains. He is the former lead vocalist for Shadows Fall, was the touring vocalist for Killswitch Engage in early 2010, and also filled in for Five Finger Death Punch vocalist Ivan Moody in late 2016. History In the mid-1990s, Labonte was in a band called Perpetual Doom. The band played death metal and its members were teenagers at the time. Nightwish is a Finnish symphonic metal band from Kitee. Ivan L. Moody (born Ivan Lewis Greening on January 7, 1980) is an American singer and songwriter who is the lead vocalist of heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch (FFDP).
