M27 Highway (Russia)
The Russian route A147 is a Russian federal highway, a mountain highway that runs along the coast of the Black Sea in Krasnodar Krai from Novorossiysk through Gelendzhik, Tuapse, and Greater Sochi to Adler. The road terminates at Russia's border with Abkhazia/Georgia. Further south, the route continues as the S1 across Abkhazia to Sukhumi. Dzhubga
Dzhubga (; Adyghe: Жьыбгъэ, Ẑəbġă which means "Wind") is a seaside resort situated 57 km west of Tuapse in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. Dzhubga is the starting point of the M27 highway. It is connected to the region's capital, Krasnodar, by a highway that runs northward, passing through Adygeysk and Goryachy Klyuch. In June 2007, Eni and Gazprom disclosed the South Stream project whereby a offshore natural gas pipeline with annual capacity of 31 cubic kilometers is planned to cross the Black Sea from Dzhubga to Varna, en route to Italy and Austria. Adler () is a resort on the Black Sea coast located in the mouth of the Mzymta River. It used to be a town but is now a microdistrict within Adlersky City District of Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, Russia. It hosts a railway station on the North Caucasus railway, which became the terminus after the Georgian–Abkhazian conflict broke the railway. Tuapse (; , Ṫuapsă ) is a town in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, situated on the northeast shore of the Black Sea, south of Gelendzhik and north of Sochi. History Early history Tuapse was a large center (native land) for the Shapsugs tribe along other areas in Circassia, with about 10,000 speakers of the language living in Tuapse currently.
