M. J. Rhett
Malcolm Jaleel "M. J." Rhett (born November 15, 1992) is an American professional basketball player who plays for Bangui Sporting Club of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). He played college basketball for the Tennessee State Tigers and the Ole Miss Rebels. Professional career Rhett has played, in the course of his professional career, in Latvia, the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, Lebanon, France, Brazil, Croatia, Mexico and Greece. Rhett signed with GTK Gliwice of the PLK on July 17, 2020. On December 2, 2020, Rhett signed with MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza of the Polish Basketball League (PLK). On March 30, 2021, Rhett signed with Boulazac of the LNB Pro A. On August 27, 2022, Rhett signed with Wilki Morskie Szczecin of the Polish Basketball League (PLK), but didn't play for them. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. Bangui Sporting Club is a Central African basketball team based in Bangui. the team plays in the Bangui Basketball League (LBBB) and has won the championship in 2022. Founded in 2017 as GIBA-BCAGS, under former International player Cyrille Damango, the team changed its name on April 4, 2022. 2024 BAL Season
The 2024 BAL season, also known as BAL Season 4, will be the 4th season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). The season will begin in March 2024 and will finish with the playoffs and finals in the BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda, for a fourth consecutive season. The league was expanded to 48 games, including four venues, as South Africa will host the inaugural Kalahari Conference. Al Ahly are the defending champions, having won the previous edition. Venues On 19 June 2023, the BAL and the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) announced they agreed on a multi-year extension to their collaboration. Under the extension, it was agreed that the BK Arena in Kigali will host the playoffs and finals in the 2024, 2026 and 2028 seasons. The Kosovo Basketball Superleague ( Albanian: Superliga e Kosovës në Basketboll) and known as the ArtMotion Superliga due to sponsorship reasons is the top men's professional basketball league in Kosovo. Basketball Superleague was founded in 1991. It is run by the Basketball Federation of Kosovo. Prishtina holds the record for most Superleague titles as it has won the championship 14 times.
