Messier 10
Messier 10 or M10 (also designated NGC 6254) is a globular cluster of stars in the equatorial constellation of Ophiuchus. The object was discovered by the French astronomer Charles Messier on May 29, 1764, who cataloged it as number 10 in his catalogue and described it as a "nebula without stars". In 1774, German astronomer Johann Elert Bode likewise called it a "nebulous patch without stars; very pale". Using larger instrumentation, German-born astronomer William Herschel was able to resolve the cluster into its individual members. He described it as a "beautiful cluster of extremely compressed stars". William Parsons, 3rd Earl of Rosse thought he could distinguish a dark lane through part of the cluster. The first to estimate the distance to the cluster was Harlow Shapley, although his derivation of 33,000 light years was much further than the modern value. The M-10 motorway () or the Karachi Northern Bypass () is a two-lane 57 km motorway in Manghopir Town, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It connects the M-9 motorway to the Karachi Port, and provides an easy access to the transporters and to the commuters who can go directly to the Karachi port without entering the main arteries of city. Route The M-10 begins north of Karachi at the end of Muhammad Ali Jinnah Road, near the junction of the M-9 to which it is connected through a trumpet interchange. It then continues north for a few kilometers before turning west, where it forms an interchange with the Super Highway Link Road, Surjani Town Road, Hub Dam Road, Shahrah-e-Qaddafi, Orangi Link Road, Ittehad Town Road, and then N-25. The Military Armament Corporation Model 10, officially abbreviated as "M10" or "M-10", and more commonly known as the MAC-10, is a compact, Blowback (arms), blowback operated machine pistol/submachine gun that was developed by Gordon Ingram in 1964. It is chambered in either .45 ACP or 9×19mm Parabellum, 9mm. A two-stage suppressor by Sionics was designed for the MAC-10, which not only abates the noise created but makes it easier to control on full automatic (although it also makes the gun far less compact and concealable). 152-mm howitzer M1938 (M-10) () was a Soviet 152.4 mm (6 inch) howitzer of World War II era. It was developed in 1937–1938 at the '' Motovilikha Mechanical Plant'' by a team headed by F. F. Petrov, and produced until 1941. It saw combat with the Red Army until the end of World War II and remained in service until the 1950s. Captured pieces were used by Wehrmacht and the Finnish Army. The latter kept the M-10 in service until 2000. In a tank-mounted variant, M-10T, the gun was mounted on the KV-2 heavy tank. The M10 Booker is an American assault gun produced by General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) for the United States Army. The M10 was developed from the General Dynamics Griffin, GDLS Griffin II armored fighting vehicle as the winner of its Mobile Protected Firepower (MPF) program in June 2022. The initial contract was for 96 low rate initial production (LRIP) vehicles, the first of which were delivered in February 2024. On 2 May 2025, United States Secretary of the Army, Army Secretary Daniel P. Driscoll, Dan Driscoll announced that the program was cancelled due to cost, a poorly negotiated maintenance contract, its weight, and its design. The Army had taken delivery of approximately 80 of the vehicles when the program was cancelled. The M10 tank destroyer, formally known as 3-inch gun motor carriage M10 or M10 BBC, was an American tank destroyer of World War II. After US entry into World War II and the formation of the Tank Destroyer Force, a suitable vehicle was needed to equip the new battalions. By November 1941, the Army requested a vehicle with a gun in a fully rotating turret after other interim models were criticized for being too poorly designed. The prototype of the M10 was conceived in early 1942 and delivered in April that year. After appropriate changes to the hull and turret were made, the modified version was selected for production in June 1942 as the "3-inch Gun Motor Carriage M10". It mounted the 3-inch anti-aircraft gun M3, 3-inch (76.2 mm) gun M7 in a rotating turret on a modified M4 Sherman tank chassis. It was built in two variants. Noble M10
The Noble M10 is the first car designed and produced by Noble Automotive. It was a two-door, two-seater model built in convertible form only. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 2.5-litre 168 hp engine. It was introduced in 1999, but is no longer in production, having been replaced by the M12. Mooney M10 Cadet
The Mooney M10 Cadet is a light airplane manufactured by the Mooney Aircraft Company in 1969 and 1970. The M10 is derived from the ERCO Ercoupe, the type certificates for which Mooney purchased from the Alon Corporation in 1967. Design The M10 is similar to the Alon A2-A, and indeed a handful of "Mooney A2-As" were built in Kerrville in 1968 before changeover of Mooney's production line was completed. According to the FAA Type Certificate Data Sheet, the ''"Model 10 is similar to Model A2-A except for new design empennage, ailerons and fuel tank vent."'' BMW M10
The BMW M10 is a SOHC inline-4 petrol engine which was produced by BMW from 1962-1988. It was the company's first four-cylinder engine since the BMW 309 ended production in 1936 and was introduced in the New Class sedans. The M10 was used in many BMW models, with over 3.5 million being produced during its 26 year production run.
