Lý Long Tường
Lý Long Tường (; 1174–?) was a prince of the Lý dynasty of Đại Việt (in modern-day Vietnam) and later became Lee Yong-sang (이용상) of Hwasan, a general of Korea. He is an ancestor of one branch of the Lee (or Yi) family today in both South and North Korea. Lý was born in 1174, the seventh son of Emperor Lý Anh Tông (李英宗，who reigned from 1138 to 1175) and his consort Lê Mỹ Nga (黎美娥). He was appointed the Great National Tutor. Life in exile In 1226, (Kien Trung's year of the Second Trần dynasty of Thai Tong), in order to avoid further bloodshed by the Trần family, Lý Long Tường, together with 6000 mandarins and servants departed from the Than Phu (now Thanh Hóa Province) estuary and fled to the South China Sea in three large ships. Lý Dynasty
The Lý dynasty ( vi, Nhà Lý, , chữ Nôm: 茹李, chữ Hán: 李朝, Hán Việt: ''Lý triều'') was a Vietnamese dynasty that existed from 1009 to 1225. It was established by Lý Công Uẩn when he overthrew the Early Lê dynasty and ended when Lý Chiêu Hoàng (then 8 years old) was forced to abdicate the throne in favor of her husband, Trần Cảnh. During Lý Thánh Tông's reign, the official name of state was changed from Đại Cồ Việt to Đại Việt. Domestically, while the Lý monarchs were devout to Buddhism, the influence of Confucianism from China was on the rise, with the opening of the Temple of Literature in 1070 for selection of civil servants who are not from noble families. Hwasan Lee clan (; Vietnamese: Gia tộc Lý Hoa Sơn) is a Korean clan. Their Bon-gwan is in Kumchon County, North Hwanghae Province. , there are 1775 members of this clan. Bon-gwan (or Bongwan) is the concept of clan in Korea, which is used to distinguish clans that happen to share the same family name (clan name). Since Korea has been traditionally a Confucian country, this clan system is similar to ancient Chinese distinction of clan names or ''xing'' (姓) and lineage names or ''shi'' (氏). The ''bong-wan'' system identifies descent groups by geographic place of origin. A Korean clan is a group of people that share the same paternal ancestor and is indicated by the combination of a ''bong-wan'' and a family name (clan name). However, a ''bon-gwan'' is not treated as a part of a Korean person's name.
