Lyukman Adams
Lyukman Rasakovich Adams (russian: Люкман Расакович Адамс; born 24 September 1988, in St. Petersburg) is a Russian triple jumper. Adams is of Nigerian and Russian descent. In February 2019, the Court of Arbitration for Sport handed him a four-year ban for doping, starting from 31 January 2019. Biography His father is Nigerian and his mother is Russian. He was born and raised in St. Petersburg. His brother Layonel Adams is a professional footballer and plays for FC Turan. Doping Scandal Adams received a four-year ban from athletics after being found guilty of doping by the Court of Arbitration for Sport on 31 January 2019. The ruling also disqualifies all of Adams' results achieved from 16 July 2012 to 14 September 2014. Athletics At The 2012 Summer Olympics
The athletics competitions at the 2012 Olympic Games in London were held during the last 10 days of the Games, on 3–12 August. Track and field events took place at the Olympic Stadium in east London. The road events, however, started and finished on The Mall in central London. Over 2,000 athletes from 201 nations competed in 47 events in total, with both men and women having a very similar schedule of events. Men competed in 24 events and women in 23, of which 21 were the same for both. The women's schedule lacked the 50 km race walk and included 100 m hurdles and heptathlon as opposed to the men's 110 m hurdles and decathlon. The youngest participant in the athletics competition was Andorran 15-year-old Cristina Llovera while the oldest was 46-year-old Ukrainian Oleksandr Dryhol. The 2010 European Athletics Championships were the 20th edition of the European Athletics Championships, organised under the supervision of the European Athletic Association. Lignano Sabbiadoro (; fur, Lignan) is a town and comune within the province of Udine, in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region of north-eastern Italy. Athletics At The 2005 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival
The athletics competition at the 2005 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival was held from 3 to 8 July. The events took place at the Stadio Comunale G. Teghil in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy. Boys and girls born 1988 or 1989 or later participated 33 track and field events, with similar programmes for the sexes with the exception of no steeplechase event for girls. A girls' and a boys' triple jump were contested for the first time. The competition preceded the 2005 World Youth Championships in Athletics, held later that month. While no athlete at this competition went on to win at the event, several of them reached the podium: Kaire Leibak was the world youth triple jump runner-up, Danijela Grgić was second in the 400 m, António Vital e Silva won another discus throw bronze medal, while Matteo Galvan was third in the 200 m.
