Fury is the codename shared by three DC Comics superheroes, two of whom are mother and daughter, both of whom are directly connected with the Erinyes, Furies of mythology, and the third who is an altogether different character. Lyta Hall appears in the drama series ''The Sandman (TV series), The Sandman'' (2022), portrayed by Razane Jammal. Fictional character biography Hippolyta "Lyta" Trevor Pre-Crisis Originally Fury was Hippolyta "Lyta" Trevor, the daughter of the Golden Age of Comic Books, Golden Age Wonder Woman (Earth-Two), Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor; Lyta inherited all her mother's powers. She was introduced in ''Wonder Woman'' (vol. 1) #300. Like most Golden Age-related characters at the time, Lyta lived on the parallel world of "Earth-Two". Lyta later adopted the identity of "The Fury", named after the Furies of mythology, and was one of the founding members of Infinity Inc., in the book of the same name written by Roy Thomas. Infinity, Inc. is a team of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The first incarnation is mostly composed of the children and heirs of the Justice Society of America (JSA), making them the Society's analogue to the Teen Titans. Created by Roy Thomas, Jerry Ordway, and Mike Machlan, Infinity, Inc. first appears in '' All-Star Squadron'' #25 (September 1983). There is also an eponymous comics series starring the group that ran from March 1984 through June 1988. The second incarnation was formed by Lex Luthor. The third incarnation was formed by Steel. Publication history Roy Thomas and his wife Dann Thomas wrote the series throughout its run. Artists who worked on the series included Jerry Ordway, Don Newton, Todd McFarlane, Michael Bair and Vince Argondezzi.
