''Lyfe'' (stylized as ''Lyfë'') is the sixth extended play by American rapper Yeat. It was released through Geffen Records, Field Trip and Twizzy Rich on September 9, 2022. The EP features a guest appearance from Lil Uzi Vert. Background and promotion On June 15, 2022, Yeat took to Twitter to announce the title of the EP. On September 2, 2022, he released the lead single, "Talk", a collaboration with American producer Bnyx. Upon releasing the EP's single "Talk", Yeat confirmed on Instagram that his forthcoming EP would release the following week on September 9, 2022. Commercial performance ''Lyfe'' debuted at number ten on the US ''Billboard'' 200 with 30,000 sales in its first week, becoming Yeat's second top-ten project. The EP also accumulated a total of 42.08 million on-demand streams of the EP's songs during the tracking week. DJ Lyfe
Incubus is an American rock band from Calabasas, California. The band was formed in 1991 by vocalist Brandon Boyd, lead guitarist Mike Einziger, and drummer José Pasillas while enrolled in Calabasas High School and later expanded to include bassist Alex "Dirk Lance" Katunich, and Gavin "DJ Lyfe" Koppel; the latter two were eventually replaced by bassist Ben Kenney and DJ Kilmore, respectively. Nicole Row replaced Kenney in 2024. Incubus has attained commercial success, reaching multi-platinum sales, as well as releasing several successful singles. After their first two albums, ''Fungus Amongus'' (1995) and '' S.C.I.E.N.C.E.'' (1997), the band earned mainstream recognition with the release of their 1999 album ''Make Yourself'' which spawned several hits, including the band's highest charting song "Drive". Chester Jermaine "Lyfe" Jennings (born June 3, 1978) is an American Contemporary R&B, R&B and soul singer-songwriter, record producer, and instrumentalist. He plays the guitar, Double bass, bass, and piano which he integrates into his music. The ''New York Times'' referred to him as a "socially minded R&B singer". Biography Lyfe Jennings was born on June 3, 1978, in Toledo, Ohio, to a working-class family and was the middle of five kids. When he was a teenager, Jennings started to perform with his brother and two cousins. In the beginning of the 1990s the group disbanded. During this time, Jennings began to get into legal trouble and his musical career came to a halt when he was sent to prison at the age of 14 for firebombing a house, killing a woman.
