Lutz Mackensy
Lutz Werner Mackensy (born 11 March 1944) is a German actor, radio play and dubbing actor. He became known to a wide audience as Chief Inspector Bernd Zimmermann in the crime series ''Stubbe - Von Fall zu Fall'' and as the dubbing voice of well-known actors such as Al Pacino, Rowan Atkinson and Christopher Lloyd. After leaving school, Mackensy attended the Max Reinhardt School of Drama in West Berlin. There he made his stage debut at the Schiller Theatre under Boleslaw Barlog in Walentin Petrowitsch Katayev's ''Quadratur des Kreises''. This was followed by various engagements in Berlin, Hamburg and Wilhelmshaven. Mackensy made his feature film debut as early as 1958 in Alfred Vohrer's ''Meine 99 Bräute''. It would be almost ten years before he shifted his artistic focus more and more to film and television productions. Der Androjäger
''Der Androjäger'' was a German sci-fi comedy television series which aired for the first time on 9 August 1982. 26 episodes were produced in total by Bavaria Film Studios. An alien transport space ship has lost androids on Earth. They survived the crash and try to integrate in human society. The location is obviously Munich although this is not explicitly stated in the series. Protagonist Dandore (Lutz Mackensy) is made looking human and starts working for the police. In this disguise, he can search for the androids. They appear human, but are given away by their behavior: each android is programmed for a specific task. At the end of each episode, Dandore alias police officer Majer sends an android home to the alien planet. Liebling Kreuzberg is a television series on German TV network ARD, which was first aired in five seasons with a total of 58 episodes from 1986 to 1998. The scripts of seasons one through three and five were written by Jurek Becker, who tailor-made the role of idiosyncratic Berlin Kreuzberg attorney Robert Liebling for his friend Manfred Krug, the fourth season was written by Ulrich Plenzdorf.
