Lutgardo "Lutz" Boco Barbo is a politician and former governor of Eastern Samar. Early life He was born on October 1, 1945, in Llorente, Eastern Samar (then part of undivided Samar). He was a candidate in the 2022 Philippine Senate election in the slate of Manny Pacquiao. Career Lutgardo Barbo was the governor of Eastern Samar for four terms from 1986 to 1998. Until 2016, Barbo was the secretary for the senators Koko Pimentel and former senator Aquilino Pimentel Jr, and as a senate secretary until 2018. Llorente (IPA: �ʎoˈrɛntɛ, officially the Municipality of Llorente ( war, Bungto han Llorente; tl, Bayan ng Llorente), is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Eastern Samar, Philippines. Samar was a province in the Philippines which is coterminous with the island of Samar and its outlying islands. History It was established in 1768 after it got separated from the province of Leyte. 2022 Philippine Senate Election
The 2022 Philippine Senate election was the 34th election of members to the Senate of the Philippines for a six-year term. It was held on May 9, 2022. The seats of the 12 senators elected in 2016 were contested in this election, and the senators that will be elected in this election serve until June 30, 2028.
