Luna Solomon
Luna Solomon (born 1996) is an Eritrean sport-shooter who qualified for, and took part in, the 2020 Olympic Games as part of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Refugee Olympic Team. Solomon fled Eritrea for Switzerland in 2015, and took up sport shooting through the Make a Mark project, founded by Italian triple Olympic gold medallist Niccolò Campriani. Solomon qualified for the 2020 Olympics and competed in the 10m air rifle event with Campriani as her coach. Solomon was last in the fifty competing shooters at the Olympics in her event. It was announced in May 2024 that Solomon would be competing as part of the Refugee Olympic Team in the 2024 Olympic Games. Niccolò Campriani (born November 6, 1987) is an Italian sport shooter and shooting coach. He competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing in the men's 10 metre air rifle, men's small-bore rifle, three positions, 50 metres and men's small-bore rifle, prone, 50 metres, and at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the men's 10 metre air rifle, winning silver, and in the men's 50 metre rifle three positions, where he won gold with a total of 1278.5 points. 10 meter air rifle is an International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) shooting event, shot at a bullseye target over a distance of using a calibre air rifle with a maximum weight of .
