While returning home one day, Lumo and another woman were gang-raped by a group of soldiers fighting for control of the Democratic Republic of the Congo during the 1994 Rwandan genocide. Rejected by her fiancé and most of the village, ''Lumo'' examines a woman's tragedy and the process of healing. Lumo (train Operating Company)
Lumo is a British open-access operator owned by FirstGroup that operates passenger trains on the East Coast Main Line between and . It is headquartered in Newcastle upon Tyne. Lumo originated in 2015 with the submission of a bid by FirstGroup to the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) to establish a new open-access operator to use additional rail paths on East Coast Main Line. It faced competition from Alliance Rail Holdings, whose bid was rejected due to high estimated revenue abstraction from the existing franchised operator. In May 2016, the ORR granted a ten-year track access agreement to the FirstGroup subsidiary ''East Coast Trains Limited'', which would later be rebranded as Lumo. During March 2019, a £100million order for five electric multiple unit high speed trains was placed to operate Lumo's services. Lumo's inaugural service was conducted on 25 October 2021. Initial operations involved the running of two trains per day in each direction on most week days; this was ex ...

HOMO/LUMO
In chemistry, HOMO and LUMO are types of molecular orbitals. The acronyms stand for ''highest occupied molecular orbital'' and ''lowest unoccupied molecular orbital'', respectively. HOMO and LUMO are sometimes collectively called the ''frontier orbitals'', such as in the frontier molecular orbital theory. Gap The energy difference between the HOMO and LUMO is ''the HOMO–LUMO gap''. Its size can be used to predict the strength and stability of transition metal complexes, as well as the colors they produce in solution. As a rule of thumb, the smaller a compound's HOMO–LUMO gap, the less stable the compound. Recent quantum‐chemical analyses of over 700 compounds demonstrated that terrestrial secondary metabolites exhibit HOMO–LUMO gaps on average about 2 eV narrower than organic molecules found in carbonaceous meteorites, and that combining gap width with hydrophilicity creates a robust discriminator between biotic and abiotic chemistries. This suggests that the HOMO–LU ...
