Luke Murray (basketball)
Luke Murray is an American college basketball coach who is an assistant for the UConn Huskies men's basketball team. Early life Murray was born to actor Bill Murray and Margaret Kelly. He attended St. Luke's School in New Canaan, Connecticut, where he played basketball and football. Murray attended Fairfield University and graduated in 2007. He began coaching AAU basketball during his freshman year at Fairfield. He later served as an assistant on an AAU team coached by former Boston Celtics head coach John Carroll during his final years in college. Coaching career Murray began his college coaching career in 2007 as the director of basketball operations at Quinnipiac under coach Tom Moore. Daniel S. Hurley (born January 16, 1973) is an American men's college basketball coach who is the head coach of the UConn Huskies. In 2023 and 2024, Hurley led UConn to back-to-back NCAA Division I national championships. He previously coached at Rhode Island and Wagner. Tom Moore (born May 12, 1965) is the General Manager of men's basketball at the University of Connecticut. He previously served as an assistant from 1994 to 2007 under Huskies' Hall of Fame and three-time NCAA Championship coach Jim Calhoun. John Carroll (basketball)
John Carroll (born November 8, 1955) is an American basketball coach who last served as an assistant coach for the University of Rhode Island men's basketball team. He was the head coach for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA), during the latter part of the 2003–04 season, temporarily replacing Jim O'Brien, who had resigned. At the end of the season he was replaced as head coach by Doc Rivers.
