Lukas Sandell
Lukas Sandell (born 3 February 1997) is a Swedish handball player for the Hungarian club ONE Veszprém and the Swedish national team. Career Sandell started playing handball at Eslövs HF. In 2013 he switched to Ystads IF HF. He debuted for the senior team in 2015, where he shared the right back position with Kim Andersson. In 2018 he transferred to Norwegian team Elverum Håndball. Here he won the Norwegian championship in 2019 and 2020 and the Norwegian cup in 2019 and 2020. In 2020 he joined Danish team Aalborg Håndbold. In his first season at the club, he reached the Champions League final, where Aalborg lost to FC Barcelona 23-36. Only days later he won the Danish Championship final. In 2023 he joined ONE Veszprém. Here he won the Hungarian Cup and the IHF Men's Super Globe in 2024. Eslöv
Eslöv (;) is a town and the seat of Eslöv Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden with 19,598 inhabitants as of 2018. Eslöv is part of the Öresund Region, and the Malmö Metropolitan Area. History According to a map from 1717, Eslöv village was originally located in the current crossing Västergatan-Remmarlövsvägen. Magyar Kupa (men's Handball)
Magyar Kupa (English: Hungarian Cup) is the main domestic cup for Hungarian men's team handball clubs, which is organized and supervised by the Hungarian Handball Federation. The competition is held annually, starting in September and concluding in April. The teams play in a one-leg knockout system with a final four tournament in the end. The winner of the Hungarian cup get the right to participate in the next year's EHF Cup Winners' Cup, unless they secure a place in the EHF Champions League. Danish Men's Handball Cup
The Danish Men's Handball cup () is the nationwide cup tournament for men's handball teams in Denmark. It’s also known as Santander Cup for sponsorship reasons. The competition has been played annually since 1964. Tournament structure The initial fase of the tournament is split in two. They are managed by the three regional federations, Jydsk Håndbold Forbund (JHF) in Jutland, and Håndboldregion Øst (HRØ) in Sealand together with Fyns Håndbold Forbund (FHF) in fyn. The western half of the initial tournament lasts 7 rounds, while the eastern half lasts 6 round. After the initial fase the DHF taking over the tournament at the round of 16. At the round of 16 and onwards, there are no longer geographical considerations, when drawing the matches. The tournament ultimately results in a final four event scheduled between Christmas and New Year.
