Lukas Frühstück (born 26 June 1991) is an Austrian Handball player for Bregenz Handball. He has played his entire career at Bregenz Handball. Career Lukas Frühstück has been playing handball for Bregenz since his youth with Bregenz Handball. He played with Bregenz Handball in the EHF Champions League (2007/08, 2008/09, 2009/10, 2010/11) and the EHF Cup (2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12, 2013/14, 2014 / 15). Bregenz Handball is a professional handball club from Bregenz, Austria. They currently compete in the Handball Liga Austria. History Bregenz Handball was founded in 1946 at the divisions of SC Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz. The team initially played in the German championships. In the 1995/1996 season, the team switched from the German championship to the Austrian championship. After two years in the 2nd league, in the 1996/1997 season, it was promoted to the Handball Liga Austria, first division with a championship title. After the handball division of SC Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz operated as an independent club for several years, the parent association was effectively separated in 1996. Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball, Olympic handball or indoor handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the opposing team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. The EHF Champions League is the most important club handball competition for men's teams in Europe and involves the leading teams from the top European nations. The competition is organised every year by EHF. The official name for the men's competition is the EHF Champions League Men. Roland Frühstück
Roland Frühstück (born 8 February 1958, in Bregenz, Austria) is an Austrian politician for the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). Frühstück has been, since 2009, deputy to the Vorarlberg State Parliament, and is currently serving as the ÖVP representative (''klubobmann'') in the state parliament. Education and profession Frühstück grew up in Vorarlberg's capital of Bregenz, where he graduated from trade school in 1972. Following his trade school, he passed his matura under the Business Academy in Bregenz. In 1979, he graduated from the Business Academy and began studying German and sports as part of a teaching degree at the University of Innsbruck. In 1984, he graduated. The Handball Liga Austria (HLA) is the professional handball league of Austria. Competition format The current format was introduced in the 2021-2022 season. The competition has 12 teams. The season begins with a regular season where each team plays each other twice, home and away. The table is then separated into two parts, a championship group and a relegation group. The top eight teams meet in quarterfinals, followed by semi- and lastly a final. The winner is declared Austrian champion.
