Lukas Ahlefeld Engel (born 14 December 1998) is a Danish professional association football, footballer who plays as a left-back or left midfielder for club Middlesbrough F.C., Middlesbrough. Club career He made his Danish Superliga debut for Vejle Boldklub, Vejle on 2 February 2021 in a game against Aarhus Gymnastikforening, AGF. On 31 January 2022, Engel was loaned out to Danish Superliga club Silkeborg IF for the rest of the season. On 21 June 2022, the club confirmed that they had bought Engel free from his contract with Vejle, and signed a five-year deal. On 15 August 2023, EFL Championship side Middlesbrough F.C., Middlesbrough announced the signing on Engel on a four-year contract. Kastrup
Kastrup () is a suburb of Copenhagen, Denmark, on the east coast of Amager in Tårnby Municipality. It is the site of Copenhagen Airport. 2019–20 Danish 1st Division
The 2019–20 Danish 1st Division season was the 24th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. The division-champion was promoted to the 2020–21 Danish Superliga. The teams in 10th, 11th and 12th places were relegated to the 2020–21 Danish 2nd Divisions. The reason for this change in promotion and relegation spots was that the Danish Superliga was reduced to 12 teams following this season.
