Luis Solignac (soccer)
Luis Emilio Solignac (born 16 February 1991) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a forward for USL Championship side San Antonio FC. Career During the 2013 pre-season, he was signed on loan from Club Atlético Platense. Solignac made his Djurgårdens IF debut in Svenska Cupen on 3 March 2013, against Umeå FC. He scored his only league goal for Djurgården when he equalized to 2–2 home against Malmö FF on 12 May 2013. IFK Mariehamn (loan) He was loaned out to Finnish Veikkausliiga club IFK Mariehamn during 2013–2014, making 41 league appearances for the club and scoring 20 goals in total. Colorado Rapids Solignac signed for the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer (MLS) in May 2015. The Copa Chile (''Chile Cup'') is an annual cup competition for Chilean football teams. Due to time constraints and club pressure, the trophy was cancelled in 2000, but returned in 2008. Its precursor was the Campeonato de Apertura (''Opening Championship''), played from 1933 to 1950. Rio Grande Valley FC, also known as RGVFC or Rio Grande Valley FC Toros, is an American semi-professional soccer team based in Edinburg, Texas operated by Lone Star, LLC. They joined the USL Championship in the 2016 season. The team served as a hybrid affiliate of the Houston Dynamo of Major League Soccer. 2020 USL Championship Season
The 2020 USL Championship season was the tenth season of the USL Championship and fourth under Division II sanctioning. This was the second season under the name "USL Championship", having used the name "United Soccer League" through 2018. Real Monarchs were the defending USL Cup champions. The 2020 season saw 35 teams participate in two conferences during the regular season. On November 8, 2019, Ottawa Fury FC announced that it had suspended operations. The team had received sanctioning from its country's governing body, Canada Soccer, but was denied by U.S. Soccer and the continental governing body of CONCACAF. Additionally, the 2020 season is the first season without Nashville SC. The club's identity transferred to a Major League Soccer team that started play in 2020.
