Luigi Crespellani
Luigi Crespellani (February 22, 1897 – April 15, 1967) was an Italian lawyer and politician. He was a member of Christian Democracy; he served as Mayor of Cagliari from 1946 to 1949 and he was defined "Mayor of reconstruction". On 31 May 1949 he became the first President of Sardinia, a position he held until 7 January 1954. He later headed the Credito Industriale Sardo The Banca di Credito Sardo S.p.A. was an Italian bank headquartered in Cagliari, Sardinia. In 2014 it was absorbed by the parent company Intesa Sanpaolo. The head office building, located in Cagliari, was designed by the Italian architect Renzo .... is a fictional character featured in video games and related media released by Nintendo. Created by Japanese video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto, Luigi is portrayed as the younger fraternal twin brother and sidekick of Mario, Nintendo's mascot. The Order of Merit of the Italian Republic ( it, Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana) is the senior Italian order of merit. It was established in 1951 by the second President of the Italian Republic, Luigi Einaudi.
