Lugene Sanders
Trevalene Lugene Solomon (born September 17, 1934 or 1935) is an American retired actress and former child star. The peak of her career was during the mid-1950s. Before getting married and retiring from acting in the early 1960s, Solomon went under the name Lugene Sanders. Early life Trevalene Sanders was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1934 or 1935 to parents Charles and Genevieve Sanders. Before moving to Los Angeles with her mother in the late 1940s, Sanders attended Capitol Hill High School and Hollywood Professional School and graduated from USC. Her first theatrical experience came when she was 13 and played Amy in a local production of ''Little Women''. ''Tormented'' is a 1960 American horror film directed and produced by Bert I. Gordon for Allied Artists Pictures Corporation, and starring Richard Carlson (actor), Richard Carlson. The film was featured in the fourth season of the television series ''Mystery Science Theater 3000''. Plot Jazz pianist Tom Stewart lives in a Cape Cod island community and is preparing to marry his fiancée, Meg Hubbard. Shortly before the wedding, Tom's ex-girlfriend Vi Mason visits and informs him that she will end his relationship with Meg, using blackmail if necessary. While they argue atop a lighthouse, the railing gives way, and Vi falls, managing to hang on briefly. She cries out for help, but Tom refuses and watches her fall to her death. The next day, Tom sees Vi's body floating in the water. After retrieving her, the body dissolves into seaweed. Susan Gordon
Susan Gordon (July 27, 1949 – December 11, 2011) was an American actress who appeared in films and numerous episodes of television programs such as ''The Twilight Zone'', ''My Three Sons'', and ''The Donna Reed Show''. Life and career Gordon was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of film director Bert I. Gordon and his wife, Flora (Lang) Gordon. She began her career, at age eight, as a last-minute substitute for another young actress in 1958's '' Attack of the Puppet People'', directed by her father, who subsequently directed her in three additional films — '' The Boy and the Pirates'', '' Tormented'' (both 1960) and 1966's '' Picture Mommy Dead'', her final film. ''Richard Diamond, Private Detective'' is an American detective drama, created by Blake Edwards, which aired on radio from 1949 to 1953, and on television from 1957 to 1960. Radio Dick Powell starred in the ''Richard Diamond, Private Detective'' radio series as a wisecracking former police officer turned private detective. Episodes typically open with a client visiting or calling cash-strapped Diamond's office and agreeing to his fee of $100 a day plus expenses, or Diamond taking on a case at the behest of his friend and former partner, Lt. Richard Dutoit Carlson (April 29, 1912 – November 25, 1977) was an American actor, television and film director, and screenwriter. Early life and education Carlson was the son of a Danish-born lawyer who lived in Albert Lea, Minnesota. He majored in drama at the University of Minnesota, where he wrote and directed plays and was a member of the society Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated ''cum laude'' with a Master of Arts degree, a scholarship prize of $2500, and an invitation to join the faculty. He declined the job offer, fearing it would create a dull future, but used the $2500 to open his own repertory theater in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He wrote, produced, directed, and acted in three plays—which used up the $2500. When the theater failed, Carlson relocated to California to join the Pasadena Playhouse, and then to New York for the Broadway stage.
