Ludwig Trautmann
Ludwig Trautmann (22 November 1885 – 24 January 1957) was a German stage and film actor. He appeared in more than 60 films between 1912 and 1953. From July 13 to October 12, 1935, he was imprisoned in the Columbia concentration camp and the Lichtenburg concentration camp near Torgau for homosexual acts on the basis of § 175, followed by his expulsion from the Reich Theater Chamber and the Reich Film Chamber. He was a member of the jury at the 1st Berlin International Film Festival. Dachsbach
Dachsbach is a market town and municipality in the district of Neustadt (Aisch)-Bad Windsheim, in the administrative region of Middle Franconia in northern Bavaria in Germany. Geography Dachsbach is located in the valley of the Aisch. The borough Rauschenberg is on the southern hills of the Steigerwald. The neighbouring municipalities are (from the north in clockwise direction): Uehlfeld, Weisendorf, Gerhardshofen and Gutenstetten. The Eleven Schill Officers (1932 Film)
''The Eleven Schill Officers'' () is a 1932 German historical film directed by Rudolf Meinert and starring Friedrich Kayßler, Hertha Thiele, and Heinz Klingenberg. It was a remake of a 1926 silent film of the same name which had also been directed by Meinert. The film depicts the failed 1809 uprising of Prussian soldiers led by Ferdinand von Schill against the occupying French. It focuses in particular on eleven of Schill's officers who were executed by the French at Wesel. Today Is the Day is an American noise rock and experimental metal band that originally formed in Nashville, Tennessee. The band's diverse sound combines influences from areas such as noise music, avant-garde metal, grindcore, post-hardcore, and alternative rock among other genres. Most of the band's recordings make extensive use of dissonance and sampling, as well as unusual production techniques and psychedelic overtones. Lyrical themes include depression, warfare, violence, altered states of consciousness, and mental disorders. History Formation and early years with AmRep (1992–1996) The band was founded by guitarist Steve Austin and drummer Brad Elrod, who previously played together in Alien in the Land of Our Birth. ''The Hymn of Leuthen'' () is a 1933 German film depicting Frederick the Great, directed by Carl Froelich starring Otto Gebühr, Olga Chekhova and Elga Brink. It was part of the cycle of nostalgic Prussian films popular during the Weimar and Nazi eras. The title refers to the 1757 Battle of Leuthen. The film was loosely based on the novel ''Fridericus'' by Walter von Molo. It presented Frederick as an inspired leader. It was shot at the Tempelhof Studios in Berlin.
