Ludwig-Erhard-Stiftung
The Ludwig Erhard Foundation (Ludwig-Erhard-Stiftung e.V.) is a public policy organization founded in 1967 by West German ex-Chancellor Ludwig Erhard in Bonn. The foundation states that it aims to serve "the further development and strengthening of the Social market economy" through publications, talks and public events. The organization's charter states that its task is to promote "principles of liberty in politics and economy through civil education both inside and outside of Germany, as well as scientific work in the subject areas of economics and regulatory policy." The foundation states its overarching goal to be "freedom and responsibility as the foundation of the economic and social structure for the empowered citizen." The foundation is funded through proceeds from its endowment, voluntary membership fees and donations. The foundation is not required to publish a yearly record of its budget. Roland Koch (born 24 March 1958) is a German jurist and former conservative politician of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). He was the 7th Minister President of Hesse from 7 April 1999, immediately becoming the 53rd President of the Bundesrat, completing the term begun by his predecessor as Minister President, Hans Eichel, until his resignation on 31 August 2010. Linda Teuteberg (''née'' Merschin; born 22 April 1981) is a German lawyer and politician of the Free Democratic Party (FDP). Serving as a member of the Bundestag since 2017, she was elected as General Secretary of the FDP on 26 April 2019 and thereby became part of the party's leadership around chairman Christian Lindner. Ludwig Wilhelm Erhard (; 4 February 1897 – 5 May 1977) was a German politician and economist affiliated with the Christian Democratic Union of Germany, Christian Democratic Union (CDU), and Chancellor of Germany (1949–), chancellor of West Germany from 1963 until 1966. He is known for leading the West German postwar economic reforms and economic recovery (''Wirtschaftswunder'', German for "economic miracle") in his role as Minister of Economic Affairs under Chancellor Konrad Adenauer from 1949 to 1963. Sawsan Mohammed Chebli (born 26 July 1978 in West Berlin, Berlin, West Germany) is a German politician of the Social Democratic Party (SPD). Early life and education Chebli was born to Palestinian asylum seekers in Germany and grew up with her parents and twelve siblings in Berlin's Moabit district.
