Ludovica Academy
The Royal Hungarian Ludovica Defense Academy ( hu, Magyar Királyi Honvéd Ludovika Akadémia, la, Ludoviceum, german: Ludovika-Akademie), shortened to Ludovica or Ludovica Academy, was Hungary's officer cadets training institute prior to 1945. The main edifice of the Academy was erected in 1836 at the ''Ludovica Garden'', in Budapest's centrally located VIIIth district. The building was designed by Mihály Pollack in the classical style. Mission The academy combined the functions of an advanced Military High School level preparatory school, a military academy on the level of United States Military Academy at West Point, and an advanced college to facilitate assignments as junior staff officers to the Austro-Hungarian General Staff. Ludovica Torelli
Ludovica Torelli (26 September 1500 – 28 October 1569) was ruling Countess of Guastalla in 1522–1539. A philanthropist, she was instrumental in the founding of two religious institutes for woman: the Angelic Sisters of Saint Paul and the "Collegio della Guastalla"/"Daughters of Mary". Life She was the daughter of Achille Torelli, Count of Guastalla and his wife, Veronica Pallavicini. Her younger brother Francesco died at a young age, leaving her sole heir. Her father died in battle at Luzzara in 1522, making her Countess of Guastalla. She devoted herself to parties, studies, pomp, court life and all that involved her role as Countess. Ludovica Albertoni
Ludovica Albertoni (1473 - 31 January 1533) was an Italian Roman Catholic noblewoman from the Renaissance period and a professed member of the Third Order of Saint Francis. The death of her husband prompted her to dedicate her life to the service of the poor in Rome and she was also known for her ecstatic experiences. Her fame for holiness became widespread in Rome and devotion to her remained intense after her death which prompted Pope Clement X to approve her beatification in 1671. Life Ludovica Albertoni was born in 1473 in Rome to the prominent nobles Stefano Albertoni and Lucretia Tebaldi. Ludovica Magdalena Marie Levy (née Dysten, from 1896 to 1906 Levy-Lavik; 7 September 1856 – 20 October 1922) was a Danish actress, theatre director and theatre critic. She toured with theatres in Denmark and Norway, and worked as instructor for Den Nationale Scene in Bergen. Ludovica Anine Vilhelmine Augusta Thornam (30 November 1853 – 27 May 1896) was a Danish portrait and genre painter. Biography Ludovica Thornam was born at Horsens in Jutland, Denmark. She was the daughter of Ludvig Thornam (1819–79) and Anine Charlotte Frederikke Norup (1824–95). Her father was a senior teacher (''Overlærer''). Ludovica Cavalli (born 20 December 2000) is an Italian athlete who specialises in middle-distance running. She competed in the women's 3000 metres event at the 2021 European Athletics Indoor Championships. Ludovica Modugno (12 January 1949 – 26 October 2021) was an Italian actress who specialized in dubbing. Biography Modugno made her debut at the age of four in the film ''Il Dottor Antonio''. She debuted in dubbing in 1955 with the film '' Miracle of Marcelino''. In 1978, she founded the theatre company ''L'albero'' alongside Gigi Angelillo.
