Luck By Chance (soundtrack)
''Luck By Chance'' is the soundtrack album to the 2008 film, Luck By Chance directed by Zoya Akhtar, starring Farhan Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan and Konkona Sen Sharma. The music and score is composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, while the lyrics are penned by Javed Akhtar. Development The track ''Sapno Se Bhare Naina'' based on the raag Bhairavi, where Shankar sang it in a thumri style backed up by drums and bass. The song was composed in about twenty minutes. ''Baawre'' is an upbeat Rajasthani folk song fusion where the trio have used traditional manganyar Rajasthani singers. ''Pyaar Ki Dastaan'' is an intentionally typical Bollywood romantic song picturized on Farhan and Isha while they are shooting for the movie within Luck By Chance. MIDIval Punditz did the remix of the tracks of the album, which were featured as background score in the movie. Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy
Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy () is an Indian musical trio consisting of Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa. They have composed music for over 50 soundtracks across five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and English. Amongst the most critically acclaimed Indian musicians, the trio have won numerous awards, including National Film Award (India), Filmfare Awards, and IIFA Awards. They are often referred to as the " Amar Akbar Anthony" of the Hindi film music industry. This type of music originates from the Rajasthan, one of the states of India and home to several important centers of Indian musical development, including Udaipur, Jodhpur and Jaipur. Rajasthani (Devanagari: ) refers to a group of Indo-Aryan languages and dialects spoken primarily in the state of Rajasthan and adjacent areas of Haryana, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh in India. Shekhar Ravjiani
Shekhar Ravjiani is an Indian singer, music director, record producer and actor. He is one half of the Bollywood composing/producing duo Vishal–Shekhar, since 1999. Personal life Ravjiani was born in a Kutchi family. He lives in South Mumbai with his wife Chhaya and daughter Bipasha. Career Ravjiani started his career by advertising. Loy Mendonsa
Loy Mendonsa is an Indian music director and part of the Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy trio which consist of himself, Shankar Mahadevan and Ehsaan Noorani. Before becoming a music composer, he played piano and keyboards for famous Indian music composers such as A. R. Rahman and Nadeem-Shravan. His daughter, Alyssa Mendonsa, made her singing debut with the song ''Uff Teri Adaa'' from the movie Karthik Calling Karthik. Loy Mendonsa started his career by composing the signature tune for 'The World This Week' show on Doordarshan. ''Rock On!!'' is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language musical drama film written and directed by Abhishek Kapoor, produced by Farhan Akhtar, and with music by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy.
