Lucio Pedercini
Lucio Pedercini (born September 22, 1972) is an Italian former professional Grand Prix motorcycle racer and current motorcycle racing team owner. Career Born in Volta Mantovana, he began racing in the Grand Prix world championships in 1992. He had his best season in 1996 when he finished in 17th place in the 500cc world championship final standings. Pedercini was Italian Superbike Champion in 2001 and 2002, riding a Ducati. He then competed in the World Superbike Championship from 1998 to 2006 with his best result being a 9th-place finish in the 2003 final standings. Racing team ownership After he retired from riding motorcycles, Pedercini became a motorcycle racing team owner competing as Team Pedercini in the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup with riders Vittorio Iannuzzo and Ayrton Badovini. Luca Scassa (born 23 August 1983 in Arezzo) is an Italian motorcycle racer who is a Ducati Corse test rider. He previously competed in the MotoGP World Championship, the Superbike World Championship the Supersport World Championship, the AMA Superbike Championship and the British Superbike Championship. He was the Italian Superbike champion in 2008 riding a MV Agusta. In 2022 FIM Endurance World Championship he rides for Italian based No Limits Motor Team in superstock category. The 1992 Italian motorcycle Grand Prix was the fifth race of the 1992 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It took place on the weekend of 22–24 May 1992 at the Mugello Circuit. 500 cc race report Wayne Gardner, back from injuries, crashed in practice and missed the race. 1992 Spanish Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 1992 Spanish motorcycle Grand Prix was the fourth round of the 1992 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It took place on the weekend of 8–10 May 1992 at the Jerez circuit. 500 cc race report Mick Doohan was on pole, and got the lead at the start from Wayne Rainey and Kevin Schwantz. Doohan then opened a gap to Rainey, who in turn had a gap to a fight for 3rd between Schwantz and Àlex Crivillé. Crivillé retired and Niall Mackenzie went up to 3rd. 1992 Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 1992 Malaysian motorcycle Grand Prix was the third round of the 1992 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It took place on the weekend of 17–19 April 1992 at the Shah Alam Circuit. 500 cc race report Kevin Schwantz injured his hand in practice and missed the race. Mick Doohan was on pole and got the lead at the start from Àlex Crivillé and Wayne Rainey. Then Doohan got a small gap while Rainey moved into 2nd. Rain brought out a red flag; 18 laps for a second leg in intermediate conditions. After one or two laps, Doohan was again at the front, followed by Juan Garriga. 1992 Japanese Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 1992 Japanese motorcycle Grand Prix was the first round of the 1992 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It took place on the weekend of 27–29 March 1992 at the Suzuka Circuit. 500 cc race report Wet race. Wayne Rainey had to ride with an injured hand from a pre-season test (part of his pinky was removed). John Kocinski was on pole, and took the lead at the start from Doug Chandler and Mick Doohan. Rainey had a bad start. Àlex Crivillé crashed out of his debut 500cc race; Wayne Gardner crashes out, as did Rainey at the Dunlop Corner. Chandler took the lead of a 4-man group with Schwantz, Doohan and Kocinski. Kocinski crashed out. Doohan and Chandler dropped Schwantz.
