Luciano Capicchioni
Luciano Capicchioni (14 July 1946 – 2 March 2021) was a Sammarinese-American sports agent. Biography As a teenager, Capicchioni moved to the United States with his father and two sisters. In 1965, he founded the cycling team at Michigan State University. Upon his return to Europe, he founded the San Marino Basketball Federation. In 1969, he founded the , of which he was the President until 1972. From 1979 to 1984, he served as Vice-President of the Sammarinese National Olympic Committee, a position in which he oversaw the Olympic Games in Los Angeles and Moscow. In 1986, Capicchioni founded the agency Interperformances, which represented professional athletes worldwide, including Toni Kukoč, Predrag Danilović, Arvydas Sabonis, Peja Stojaković, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, and Manu Ginóbili. Predrag "Saša" Danilović ( sr-Cyrl, Предраг "Саша" Даниловић, ; born February 26, 1970), usually referred to in English as Sasha Danilović, is a Serbian professional basketball executive and former player, considered one of the best European shooting guards of the 1990s. Danilović was the EuroLeague Final Four MVP in 1992, was voted Mister Europa Player of the Year in 1998, and was Italian League MVP the same year. Beginning in 2007, Danilović served as the president of Partizan, the club with which he spent six years as a player during the 1980s and early 1990s. In 2015, he resigned from the position. Rinascita Basket Rimini (RBR), formerly known as Basket Rimini and Basket Rimini Crabs, is an Italian basketball team based in Rimini, Emilia-Romagna. From the 1978–79 to the 2010–11 season, the team continuously played in professional basketball between Serie A1 and Serie A2/Legadue, with one exception, the 1990–91 season (played in Serie B1). Emanuel David "Manu" Ginóbili ( , ; born 28 July 1977) is an Argentine former professional basketball player. Zydrunas Ilgauskas (; ; born June 5, 1975) is a Lithuanian-born American former professional basketball player who played the center position. The Ilgauskas played for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association from 1997 to 2010 and played for the Miami Heat during the 2010–11 season. Arvydas Romas Sabonis (; born 19 December 1964) is a Lithuanian former professional basketball player and businessman. Sabonis won the Euroscar six times and the Mr. Europa Award twice. He played in a variety of leagues, including the Spanish ACB League, and spent seven seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Playing the center position, Sabonis won a gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics, in South Korea, for the Soviet Union, and later earned bronze medals at the 1992 Olympic Games and 1996 Olympic Games representing Lithuania. Toni Kukoč (; born September 18, 1968) is a Croatian former professional basketball player who serves as Special Advisor to Jerry Reinsdorf, the owner of the Chicago Bulls.
