Lucía
''Lucía'' is a 1968 Cuban black-and-white drama film directed by Humberto Solás, and written by Solás, Julio García Espinosa and Nelson Rodríguez (film writer), Nelson Rodríguez. It was the winner of the Golden Prize and the Prix International Federation of Film Critics, FIPRESCI at the 6th Moscow International Film Festival in 1969. The film is a period piece, told in three stories in different moments of History of Cuba, Cuban history (the Cuban War of Independence, Cuban war of independence, the History of Cuba#Cuba in the early 20th century, 1930s during the regime of Gerardo Machado and the History of Cuba#Revolutionary Cuba, 1960s), all as seen through the eyes of a different woman, each named Lucía. Mount Lucia is a mountain in Canterbury, New Zealand. Description Mount Lucia is part of the Liebig Range of the Southern Alps and is situated in the Canterbury Region of the South Island. Precipitation runoff from the mountain's slopes drains into the Cass River. Topographic relief is significant as the summit rises above Ailsa Stream in 1.5 kilometre, and above the Cass River Valley in three kilometres. The nearest higher peak is The Abbot, five kilometres to the southwest. The first ascent of the summit was possibly made in 1891 by Noel Brodrick with survey team. Etymology This mountain was named in January 1909 by mountaineer Guy Mannering to honour his first wife, Lucy Mannering (1869–1913).
