Lucas Álvarez
Lucas Emanuel Álvarez (born 9 March 1994) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Atlas. Career Álvarez first appeared in the Chacarita Juniors first-team in 2015 when he was an unused substitute for a Copa Argentina match against Atlas in April 2015. He wasn't involved again until the 2016–17 campaign, which was a season spent on the bench as he was unused twenty-five times as Chacarita won promotion to the 2017–18 Primera División. However, Álvarez did make his professional debut towards the end of that season in the Copa Argentina. He played the full ninety minutes as the club were knocked out by Guillermo Brown in the round of sixty-four on 5 July 2017. His league debut arrived on 11 May 2018 versus San Martín. The 2016 Argentine Primera B Nacional was the 31st season of the Argentine second division. The season began in January and ended in July. Twenty-two teams competed in the league, sixteen returning from the 2015 season, two teams that were relegated from Primera División and four teams promoted from Federal A and B Metropolitana. The 2018–19 Argentine Primera B Nacional was the 34th season of the Argentine second division. The season began on 25 August 2018 and ended on 8 June 2019. Twenty-five teams competed in the league, seventeen returning from the 2017–18 season, four teams that were relegated from Primera División and two teams promoted from Federal A and B Metropolitana. Competition format Twenty-five teams played each other once for a total of twenty-four matches each. The champion earns promotion to the Primera División. The teams placed from 2nd to 9th place competed in the "Torneo Reducido" for the second promotion berth after the regular season ended. Two teams were relegated at the end of the season; one with indirect affiliation with AFA was relegated to the Torneo Federal A, while one directly affiliated faced relegation to Primera B Metropolitana.
