Lucas Lingman
Lucas Lingman (born 25 January 1998) is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for HJK. Career HJK Lingman began his career as a youth with Honka before joining HJK in 2011. He was promoted to the first team in 2015, and made his Veikkausliiga debut on 30 August 2015 against FC Ilves at the age of 17. RoPS 2018 Lingman signed 1+2 year(s) contract (with the team having the right to extend it) with Rovaniemen Palloseura. Rovaniemen Palloseura (RoPS) is a football club founded in 1950 and based in Rovaniemi, Finland. The 2019 Veikkausliiga was the 89th season of top-tier Association football, football in Finland. Helsingin Jalkapalloklubi were the defending champions. New league format Veikkausliiga adopted a new league format for the 2019 season. Each team played against each other twice in the regular season. After the regular season the top six teams advanced to the Championship Series which determines the champion and European tournament qualification places. The Finnish League Cup was a knock-out football competition contested annually during the pre-season in winter by teams from Veikkausliiga. The league cup was abolished after the 2016 tournament and replaced with the Finnish Cup group stage starting from the 2017 season. League cup will be played again in spring of 2022.
