Lucas Andersen
Lucas Qvistorff Andersen (born 13 September 1994) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a winger for Danish side AaB. Club career AaB Andersen started playing youth football with Aalborg Freja, before moving to Aalborg BK (AaB) at the age of 10. In September 2008, Andersen went on a one week trial at Liverpool at the age of only 14, without getting offered a contract. He penned his first professional contract with AaB in September 2009. Andersen made his debut for AaB on 5 March 2011 at the age of 16 years and 174 days, making him the youngest player ever to play for AaB in the top-flight Danish Superliga championship and the second youngest player ever to play in the Danish Superliga. Aalborg
Aalborg (, , ) is Denmark's fourth largest town (behind Copenhagen, Aarhus, and Odense) with a population of 119,862 (1 July 2022) in the town proper and an urban population of 143,598 (1 July 2022). Jesper Grønkjær
Jesper Grønkjær (; born 12 August 1977) is a Danish former professional footballer. A pacey winger, Grønkjær played primarily on the right or left wing, or as a second striker. He played a total 400 league games for a number of European clubs, most notably winning the 1999 Dutch Cup with Ajax Amsterdam and playing more than 100 games for English club Chelsea. Grønkjær ended his career with FC Copenhagen, winning four Danish Superliga titles with the club. Grønkjær was capped 80 times for the Denmark national team from 1999 to 2010, scoring five goals. He played for his country at the World Cup in 2002 and 2010, as well as two European Championship tournaments. He was named 1995 Danish Under-19 Player of the Year. The 2012–13 Danish Superliga season was the 23rd season of the Danish Superliga, which decided the Danish football championship. It marked the 100 year anniversary of the first ever Danish Football Championship, held in 1912–13. The season began on 13 July 2012 and ended on 20 May 2013. Teams Lyngby Boldklub and HB Køge finished the 2011–12 season in 11th and 12th place, respectively, and were relegated to the 2012–13 1st Division. 2011–12 Danish Superliga
The 2011–12 Danish Superliga season was the 22nd season of the Danish Superliga, which decided the Danish football championship. The season began on with OB, the previous season's runners-up playing the cup winners FC Nordsjælland. It concluded on with six simultaneous matches. F.C. Copenhagen were the defending champions, having won their ninth league championship and third consecutively last season. Since Denmark climbed from fifteenth to twelfth place in the UEFA association coefficient rankings at the end of the 2010–11 season, the 2011–12 league champions entered directly the group stage of the UEFA Champions League instead of having to compete in the qualifying rounds. It began on 17 July 2010 with the previous season's silver medalists from Odense facing Esbjerg and ended on 29 May 2011 with six simultaneous matches. F.C. Copenhagen secured the title when Odense lost 1-2 to Nordsjælland on 21 April 2011, for their ninth Danish championship. Twelve teams were taking part in the tournament, facing each other three times for 33 matches total. Denmark League XI National Football Team
The Denmark League XI national football team is an unofficial national football team run by the Danish Football Association. The team generally consists of Danish players playing in the Danish Superliga, or other leagues if their clubs agree to release them. It is only assembled in the start of the year, during the winter break in the Superliga. The matches of the League XI have generally not been recognised as official matches by the Danish FA, although FIFA recognised matches until 2007. History A Danish Football Combination played the Scottish League XI in 1955. Since 1983, the team has been assembled every year except 2005 (because of an early World Cup qualification match) and 2011 (where no suitable trip could be arranged) in January or February. 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup
The 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup was the fourteenth tournament of the FIFA U-17 World Cup, and the eleventh played since the change in age limits from under 16s to Under 17s in 1991. It was held in Mexico with games being played amongst various venues between 18 June and 10 July 2011. Mexico won the Cup, being the first team to achieve it as hosts defeating Uruguay 2–0 and managing their second title in the category. The 2011 UEFA European Under-17 Championship was the tenth edition of UEFA's European Under-17 Football Championship. Serbia hosted the tournament between the 3 and 15 May. 6 Teams also qualified for the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup. Players born after 1 January 1994 were eligible to participate in this competition. Rasmus Würtz
Rasmus Østergaard Würtz (born 18 September 1983) is a Danish former professional association football, footballer who played as a midfielder. He won the 2008–09 Danish Superliga with F.C. Copenhagen. He played 12 matches for the Denmark national football team, Denmark national team from 2005 to 2007, as well as 52 matches for various youth national teams.
