Luca Baraldi
Luca Baraldi (born 7 September 1960) is an Italian sports executive and director. During his long-time career, he worked both in basketball with Virtus Bologna and in football for Parma, Lazio, Modena, Bologna and Padova. Biography Luca Baraldi was born in Modena, Emilia-Romagna, in 1960. His professional career as a sports executive began in 2001, when the entrepreneur Calisto Tanzi, owner of Parmalat and Parma football team, convinced Baraldi to leave his career as a bank director for Banca Monte Parma and to enter the board of directors of Parma and Parmatour, serving as CEO of the football team for two years. On 8 January 2003, he became CEO of S.S. Lazio, strongly supported by Cesare Geronzi, president of Capitalia, the bank controlling the Roman club. Modena
Modena (, ; ; ; ; ) is a city and ''comune'' (municipality) on the south side of the Po Valley, in the Province of Modena, in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy. Rugby Colorno is an Italian rugby union club currently competing in the Italian domestic league Top10. They are based in Colorno (Province of Parma), in Emilia-Romagna. They were founded in 1975. History Rugby Colorno was founded in 1975 as an Under-19 team, by Paolo Pavesi, to participate in the Italian Junior Championships. The EuroLeague is a European men's professional basketball club competition. The league is widely recognised as the top-tier and the most prestigious men's basketball league in Europe. The league consists of 20 teams, of which 16 are given long-term licences and wild cards, making the league a semi-closed league. The league was first organized by FIBA in 1958, subsequently by ULEB in 2000 and then solely by Euroleague Basketball. The competition was introduced in 1958 as the FIBA European Champions Cup (renamed the FIBA EuroLeague in 1996), which operated under FIBA's umbrella until Euroleague Basketball was created for the 2000–01 season. Massimo Zanetti (born 12 February 1948 in Treviso) is an Italian entrepreneur and former politician, owner of Segafredo, a global coffee company. Since 2016, Zanetti has also owned the Italian basketball team Virtus Bologna, one of the most successful teams in Europe, of which he formally became president in October 2021.
