Luc Steins
Luc Steins (born 22 March 1995) is a Dutch professional handball player for Paris Saint-Germain and the Dutch national team. He represented the Netherlands at the 2020 and 2022 European Men's Handball Championship. He was in the all-star team of the latter tournament. Voerendaal (; li, Voelender) is a municipality and a town in the southeastern Netherlands. LNH Division 1
LNH Division 1, doing business as Starligue and currently known as Liqui Moly Starligue for sponsorship reasons, is the premier men's professional handball league in France. It is administered by the Ligue Nationale de Handball, under delegation from the French Handball Federation. Founded in 1952, it is currently contested by 16 teams. Montpellier Handball is the most successful club with 14 titles, and the club which won the most consecutive titles is Paris Saint-Germain with 8 between 2015 and 2022. The champion and the vice-champion are directly qualified for the group phase of the EHF Champions League. EHF Excellence Awards
The EHF Excellence Awards is an annual handball awards ceremony held by the European Handball Federation. It was first held in 2023 in Vienna, Austria. The best players of the season on each position both on the men's and women's side are awarded, as well as Rookie of the season, Defender of the season, and MVP of the season. The ceremony also includes Beach Handball MVP's. Players can be shortlisted by their performance in the EHF Champions League, EHF European League, EHF Euro, and the IHF World Championship. The winners are decided by voting from players, coaches, media representatives and fans, each group representing 25% of the votes.
