Lubomir Vasyliovych Levitski (; September 17, 1980) is a Ukrainian film director, screenwriter and producer most noted for his production of the 2006 horror film . In 2023, he released the documentary ''Follow Me (documentary), Follow Me'', a reporting on the Shooting of Andrii Bohomaz. Early life and education Levitski was born on September 17, 1980, in Verkhovyna, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. He studied archeology at Chernivtsi University before attending film school in Germany. Career Levitski is a director, producer, and film maker. In 2006, with screenwriter Oleksiy Khoroshko, Levitski directed the horror Штольня :uk:Штольня_(фільм), [UK]. Marta Shokalo writing for BBC News Ukrainian noted how unusual it is for a Ukrainian language film to be in a genre other than Ukrainian nationalism. Verkhovyna
Verkhovyna (, ), known as Zhabie () until 1962, is a Populated places in Ukraine#Rural settlements, rural settlement in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, western Ukraine. Verkhovyna serves as the administrative center of Verkhovyna Raion. It also hosts the administration of Verkhovyna settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: It was originally established as Żabie in 1424. The town is located in the Hutsul region of the Carpathian Mountains called Pokuttia, upon the Cheremosh, Cheremosh River, a tributary of the Prut. Verkhovyna is currently an important tourist center in Ukraine. The town's name means "highland place." In 1919–1939, Żabie belonged to Poland and was located in the Kosiv, Kosów Powiat (county) of the Stanisławów Voivodeship.
